Check the file
Compare its SHA-256 with the one shown here before you open it.

Run the installer
Open the downloaded installer and follow its steps.

Open your first workspace
Start Brainoid Local and create a workspace. AI on your Mac needs no account.

Check a download in Terminal

shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/<file name>

The line it prints should match the SHA-256 on this page exactly. If it does not, delete the file and download it again.
